Phew, this album is breathtaking! It's a fast ride through modern chamber rock, full of surprising counterpoints, with every note placed carefully in the weighty score. Sometimes Joey M. Bishop's music gets close to French/Belgian RIO/Zeuhl, sometimes it sounds more like a chamber symphony by Paul Hindemith. A true highlight among the releases of 2017! Sven B. Schreiber (sbs)
